Well…this week on Friday, March 2nd, Mercury enters Aries until March 23rd and impulsiveness will be in the air – in action and speech! Fast words, awareness and insight will be around and in us. And we’ll also want to be alert to saying things out of impatience or anger. Burned bridges will be especially hard – or even impossible – to rebuild…partly due to Mercury’s approaching three-week retrograde that begins on March 12th. In actuality, he’s already entered his “Retrograde Shadow”… oh joy, right?! So already we should be lining our communication ducks up… This is THE ideal time to be checking our vehicles and backing up all forms of data.
We should also already be anticipating changes in our plans – and thinking “flexibility and patience!” All forms of communication and transportation could be affected, and that includes talking, the internet, mail and email. Beginning now, building flexibility into our plans to allow for possible later changes will help things progress more smoothly during Mercury’s official retrograde period and beyond!
Also, this week, the Sun will face off with retrograde Mars on Saturday, March 3rd – this is a time when sparks can fly! Expect action no matter what! Often this aspect brings anger and conflict – but it can also just bring us a surge of stimulating energy and extreme activity. Accidents can also be a possibility, since the impulse is often to act first and think later – or not at all! So slowing down before stepping over – or in – an obstacle , will be very beneficial for us… and/or finding a constructive outlet for any roiling emotions will also be good for us.
