So… we’ve got the wind at our backs, we’re holding onto our hats, here’s the week ahead in eight minutes or less …

and this then is for the week beginning Sunday, December 5^th, 2010…

Now… this week, we have a New Moon in Sagittarius, Uranus changes to direct motion, Mars will move into Capricorn — but the big news is that Mercury, who is very powerfully aspected right now, turns retrograde….

On Sunday December 5^th, we have a bright, shiny New Moon in Sagittarius — this new moon will bring us ideas for education — and inspiration for internal and external growth and expansion — and maybe even travel.  If we allow it to come to us, we will sense a buoyant optimism bubbling up and available to us.  We have new vision and new hope — and this New Moon asks us to think big, and think outside the box

… and also on Sunday, December 5, Uranus will turn direct, and our awareness and intuitive thinking come to the forefront.  Action and movement in high-tech, television, and science is at our doorstep — and for these few days.  We should be prepared to expect the unexpected.  We will be ready to make changes that have been simmering below the surface for the last few months.  And this can be a very big change in direction for us and our lives

… then on Friday, December 10^th, Mercury turns retrograde at 5° of Capricorn…

This Mercury retrograde is even more significant this time around because it’s also been moving with Pluto for about a week.   So of this Mercury retrograde is very powerfully about transformation.  And we need to watch for anything or anyone that pushes our buttons over this month — because they’re coming up for transformation and healing.  And we won’t be able to say no to this transformation this time around.

And of course, this is the time to pay close attention to our communications, our computers, and their vehicles — and avoid starting major new projects if we can… although projects already begun will be getting a powerful boost of energy, so be ready to make the most of it.  We’ll want to take extra care when traveling, back up critical data and make sure they were saying exactly what we’re intending to say — as usual for Mercury retrograde periods.  And we should remember that Mercury retrograde periods are not all bad — they’re all wonderful time for planning and finishing things that we’ve already started.

And since this Mercury retrograde is in Capricorn, he’s asking us to be practical and to look at any outworn structures in our lives, and be ready to replace them with new ones that serve us better — after he moves to forward motion on December 29^th.

… and then on Tuesday, December 7th,  Mars leaves Sagittarius and moves into ambitious Capricorn — and this too will give us disciplined and structure as we move forward with our ambitions.  The energy of Mars in Capricorn, works well with Mercury retrograde in Capricorn… both are traveling in the same direction.  The one drawback with these placements is the possibility of the possibility of being a little more insensitive — so, we will want to keep an eye on that for best results.

Now this week, I want to talk about how each sign may experience this Mercury retrograde — and as always, this will apply to your Sun sign and Ascendant/Rising sign if you know it…

Aries: Falls in your 10^th House of Career.  Look to possible reconfiguration, reassignment or a adjustment in your career life.

Taurus: Falls in your 9^th House of Long Travels, Education, Publishing.  Possible opportunity for learning, but double check plans, especially when traveling.

Gemini: Falls in your 8^th House of Shared Resources.  Matters related to joint income, taxes, inheritances could return for another look.  Consider offers carefully.

Cancer: Falls in your 7^th House of Partnerships.  Take care with communications with partners – an issue thought resolved may resurface for re-consideration.

Leo: Falls in your 6^th House of Work, Health.  Rethink and refine your daily schedule, and reconsider your health and health routines.

Virgo: Falls in your 5^th House of Romance, Creativity, Children.  Re-think what you do for pleasure now.  Someone from the past may make a return appearance!

Libra: Falls in your 4^th House of Home and Family. Communication problems here can be lessened by communicating very clearly and specifically.

Sagittarius: Falls in your 2^nd House of Finances.  Think before spending.  Payments may be delayed, but you may also re-consider a possible new source of income!

Capricorn: Falls in your 1^st House of Self!  Your personal life is up for a rethink. Adjustments to your Self, your beliefs – even your appearance may arise.

Aquarius: Falls in your 12^th House of Secrets and Behind the Scenes.  People or issues from the past (this life or past!) may come up for review and re-examination.

Pisces: Falls in your 11^th House of Friends and Wishes.  Communicate clearly with friends and groups to avoid misunderstandings.

Well, this is a week of powerful change – and powerful, powerful passions!  The shifting energy will be nearly palpable to us – so we REALLY SHOULD hold on to our hats – and that goes for about the next month!

The week sets off on Monday, October 18^th with Mercury forming a flowing trine aspect to Neptune and the Asteroid Chiron.  Chiron is also known as the “Wounded Healer”… and our imaginations will be running through fields of purple clover!  And finding healing, dreams and intuitions along the way…

Creativity, healing and ideas will be flowing like a stream to the ocean can be ours for these couple of days… we’ll be feeling very fluid and compassionate toward others, and toward ourselves.  Mental healing is available now and we’ll either give or receive just the right words that we need to speak or hear… the only caveat here is that we may fall into too much wishful thinking or get caught up in daydreams.  Not a bad thing – just recognize it for what it is!

Then Tuesday, October 19^th the Sun takes over and trines the same points in the sky, Neptune and Chiron… and we can be feeling amazing optimism now – and miraculously feel like our recent efforts to achieve our dreams are finally beginning to come together in an almost magical cohesive whole.

Romance, compassion and creativity can also blossom now.  But we should hold off making decisions and major changes under this influence – it’s a lovely, but temporary, energy… so we should thoroughly enjoy it, but stay as grounded as we can

And on Wednesday, October 20^th, Mercury changes his personality from partnership oriented and agreeable Libra and moves into deep, watery and passionate Scorpio – and all just as Mars forms a mystically flowing trine to Jupiter… and we’ll find our intuition and hunches ratcheting up several notches.  Secrets and hidden information may come to light in our lives over this next month – and that can surprise us and/or help us make some more decisions about where we want to go – and what we want to believe.  We could also find ourselves experiencing the obsessive or manipulative side of Scorpio’s personality – either within ourselves or in those around us.  So be alert to that… and all of this very deep energy is amplified by Mars forming a flowing trine to Jupiter today which could either open our courage – or push assertiveness toward aggression if we aren’t paying attention.  There’s a huge amount of fervor in the air today – we should use it to courageously move forward toward our passions.  We could surprise ourselves when we see how much we’re able to accomplish!

Then on Friday, October 22^nd, Mars will square off with Neptune, form an aspect of opportunity with Pluto – and square off with the Asteroid Chiron – plus we have a potent Full Moon in Aries! …all at once!

This can bring us deeply penetrating conversations – or just some plain old arguments.  It will be our choice.  No matter what, we could have a very emotional day, one way or the other.  On the challenging side, we should be alert to any passive-aggressive behavior around or in us, and instead work toward releasing old patterns of hidden agendas.  This can be a startling time of healing things from the past that have hurt us in some way.  Though it might be shocking or upsetting as it comes to light.

And also on Friday, October 22^nd, we’ll be experiencing a particularly intense Full Moon in Aries, and with all the other forceful energy fairly bursting in the sky this week, we can count on feeling fully awake and alert!  Courage is the name of the game.  And there’s so much passion around us this week, that we can stand up and take on just about anything we desire.  Desire being the operative word now!

Finally, on Saturday, October 23^rd, the life-giving Sun will join Mercury in emotionally driven Scorpio – and we’ll be called front and center to follow our passions.  And get a move on!  The good news is that we won’t have a half-hearted feeling in us – and the challenging news is that we won’t have a half-hearted feeling in us!  So we’ll have amazing muscle and strength to follow our dreams – or invent some new ones along the way!  And this energy is going to be around for about a month!

Now, this week I want to talk about the energy of this dynamic and powerful Full Moon in Aries – and how it will be affecting each sign.  And, as always, this will apply to your Sun Sign and Rising/Ascendant sign if you know it…

 

Aries.

Look for a balancing, completion or culmination of something you may have begun related to partnership issues last July.  Look for a new understanding as you relate to others now.  Be agreeable, find balance, but don’t put yourself last!

Taurus.

Some of life’s “clutter” may finally be ready to leave your life.  You might also find secrets revealed to you.  Allow yourself to be drawn to solitude – your intuition will flourish!

Gemini.

Celebrate your friends and be open to seeing your dreams come to fruition.  Also, be prepared that some associations that no longer meet your needs may come to an end – to open the door for dashing new ones to come in!

Cancer.

You may realize a career goal now that opens doors to new professional pursuits in your life.  Be ready to see a new path if it’s presented to you – and grab that golden brass ring!

Leo.

Personal and spiritual growth will expand your horizons in ways you never expected.  You may also have an new education opportunity – or find yourself traveling to new places.

Virgo.

Shared or jointly held resources are up for examination – and possible expansion.  Be prepared to release an old habit that’s just been holding you back!  And also be prepared to experience some amazing expanded psychic awareness!

Libra.

Your partnerships, intimate or business, will be finding balance.  This may mean letting go of any of any that aren’t meeting your needs – or being surprised as some becoming renewed!

Scorpio.

Your health and daily life and routine can become balanced.  You may also finally find fulfillment in your current work – or be presented with an opportunity for new work.

Sagittarius.

Fun, love and pleasure can be all around you for the taking now.  New romance can beckon – and/or you may finally be able to find closure in one that needs to be left behind.

Capricorn.

You can find renewal and balance in your home and family life.  You may also finally see the success in an expansion you’d hoped for – and the success you’ve worked for.

Aquarius.

Communications of all kinds can bring fulfillment to you – and answers you’ve been waiting for.  So, if you’ve been waiting for a message, it’s time to arrive is right around the corner!

Pisces.

Expect to find a balance in your finances and what you value.  You may have an opportunity to finalize a new source of income, or solidify some recent changes in your current income source.

Well… fortunately – and gratefully – we’ve arrived at a much softer energy now.  And though all of the squirrelly energy is certainly not gone for good – we have a very welcome breather now.

As of Friday, August 20^th, Mercury is now officially retrograde.  And also this week, the Sun moves from fiery Leo to meticulous Virgo – and we have a mystical Pisces Full Moon coming up … so the energy around us should be a LOT gentler this week!

And the theme this week is balance…

With so much Virgo and Mercury in the air, we’re being surrounded by a spirit of contemplation and offered an opportunity for reconsideration now.   And whether we like it or not, our thoughts will probably drift to getting organized and tidying things up.  Especially after the last few raucous months there could be a lot that needs re-thinking or re-stacking in our lives!

And we shouldn’t be surprised if we resume studies or decide to complete some business or writing we began a few months ago – or if people we haven’t seen for quite a while re-surface in some way.

And we’ll also likely be drawn – or at least be thinking about – health, diet and fitness…

Mercury will be retrograde now till September 12^th, and he’ll remain in his ‘shadow’ period until September 26^th – when we’ll be totally out of the retrograde.  So, during these next three weeks especially, we need to be mindful of our computers, computer data, and our vehicles.  And remain flexible in our plans and appointments!  Things could waffle a little… and it’s not too late to back up our data and give our vehicles a once-over!   And if we MUST purchase computers, vehicles or other big-ticket items, of course DO IT!  But read ALL the small print – and be prepared that there may need to be some kind of “adjustment” to anything we begin for these three weeks!

Then, Saturday, August 21^st, Saturn will square off with Pluto, and there could be a general lack of cooperation or even some antagonism in the air.  This is another one of those days when we can find greater ease in our lives by not hanging on too tight, and letting go of things, situations – or people –who no longer serve our highest good – or we theirs…  Otherwise, if we don’t let go willingly, we could find those things taken away by some degree of force down the road.

And also on August 21^st, the Sun will oppose and face off with the Asteroid Chiron – he’s also known as The Wounded Healer – and, coupled with the Saturn/Pluto opposition, we may find ourselves caught up in fear of losing our creative selves to the necessity of healing in some way.  We may be forced to take care of ourselves or someone around us in a way that brings us clarity to know what we really need in our lives.  If we can find balance here, healing of very old fears and resistance can be the result.   And this aspect promises that we won’t have to do it all alone.  But we may need to step up and ask for that help!

Then, Sunday, August 22^nd, the Sun begins his travels through earthy, practical Virgo… And we could feel invigorated to take a look at what needs tidying up.  What needs to be cleaned out – in our homes, our closets, and in our bodies!  We’ll have supportive energy to get practical and efficient.  And for this month, working hard, beginning a rock-hard exercise program, and even adopting a pet – will receive the blessing and encouragement of the heavens – and any of those things that we begin now will pay off a lot easier and a lot quicker.  And since Virgo is also about service – looking around to do a Random Act of Kindness will also make a deposit to our spiritual or karmic bank accounts!

And then, Tuesday, August 24^th, we have the magical Full Moon in Pisces.

This is the ‘Harvest’ Full Moon and it gives us the opportunity to truly ‘harvest’ something in our lives through action, but this IS a Pisces Full Moon – so we’ll probably we seeking a balance between the act of Harvesting, and the ability to so easily connect with the flow of creative inspiration and intuitive guidance available to us.   Once again, to reap the rewards – and Harvest – of this Full Moon, we’re being asked to find a balance.

Then late Wednesday, August 25^th, the meticulous Virgo Sun trines mighty Pluto, and we can feel confident and self-assured in our chosen directions.  Today, we can KNOW that everything is and will be okay.  And especially if we’ve maintained our balance over the course of the week, we can be assured of the success of any projects we begin today.

Gemini: Home and family life may need some reorganization.  Be sure to be clear in your communications in or about your home.  You also have an opportunity to review or rearrange something in your home.

Leo: Think before spending!  Payments may be delayed, and/or you may also receive money due you from the past!  And it’s a great time to begin reviewing ideas for new sources of income!

Virgo: Your personal life is up for a review and re-think – and you may even be thinking about changing your appearance. Think about it – but don’t act on it yet!  You’ll probably change your mind!

Libra: Secrets from the past may be revealed and come up for review.  Pay attention to your dreams – you could receive some valuable hidden information!

Scorpio: Your friends may complicate things – or you may confuse them!  It’s really important to communicate clearly with associates to avoid misunderstandings.  You may also find a friend returns to your life.

Sagittarius: Your career may feel stalled for these few weeks, and you may find yourself rethinking your career direction.  This is the time to THINK not ACT!  And be sure to speak clearly with superiors and co-workers.

Capricorn: You have a possible opportunity for travel or learning.  Some idea you once found delicious can resurface, but double check plans, especially if you find yourself traveling.

So… we’ve got the wind at our backs, we’re holding onto our hats, here’s the week ahead in eight minutes or less … and this then is for the week beginning Sunday, July 18^th,  2010…

Well, this week, we’re officially in one of the most anticipated energy patterns of our lifetimes – the infamous Grand Cardinal Cross is in ignition sequence as of this week…

Its launch officially commences with Saturn entering Libra and a Jupiter-Pluto square that takes place this week…

And this week, we’re also looking at the asteroid Chiron – also known as the Wounded Healer – backing up into Aquarius – and if that’s not enough energy for you… there’s also a full moon in dazzling Leo next weekend…

Now, on Tuesday, July 20^th, the asteroid Chiron moves from Pisces back into Aquarius for nearly 10 months… so we should be on the lookout  for unconventional approaches, unconventional insights and a seat-of-your-pants approach to healing whatever in us needs to be healed – and unique abilities and talents we didn’t know we had to be unfolding.   We might also find healings within our circle of friends – or our hopes, wishes and dreams.  And this is the last time Chiron will be in Aquarius for almost 50 years – so we have until next February when he returns to Pisces for good to welcome these Aquarian changes.

And this week, the Cardinal Cross energy officially takes off on Wednesday, July 21^st, when Saturn enters Libra – where he’ll remain till October 5^th of 2012.  And for individuals who’ve been wishing and hoping for a new significant relationship – or improvements in the one they’ve got! – this is great news!  During these two years, we’ll actually be connecting with and achieving relationships we’ve only dreamt of… And actually this could also apply to business partnerships… relationships of all kinds will be up for new understanding and commitment.

We can also look for a recalibration of the legal system over the next couple of years, especially regarding the legal definition of marriage.

Saturn’s move into Libra also marks the arrival of that infamous T-square made up of Saturn, Jupiter and Uranus – and all squaring Pluto… this is what a lot of us have been sensing building up over the last few months.  This energy is especially powerful now through August 12^th, and will be with us and very potent through September 21^st or so…

And since all of these planets are in the Cardinal signs of dynamic movement, change and new beginnings, we’ll finally be looking nose-to-nose at that infamous Grand Cardinal Cross…

For all of us what that means is that, once and for all, we’ll be called to release anything and everything that no longer serves us… Old ways of being won’t be working for us anyway… and to maneuver fruitfully through this wild energy of change, we should all be tuning in to our Inner Voice – and listening to what our next step should be… and then take it.

This energy is all about transformation… and we will transform.  Look around… it’s already happening… So line your little ducks up, kiddies, listen within, hang on to your seatbelt – then let go and take that exciting e-ticket ride that’s upon us!

And then on Thursday, July 22^nd, the Sun will enter fiery Leo and will also form an aspect of opportunity to Saturn.   This is the time of the year when we seek to express the enthusiasms that move us!  The energy of Leo centers around creativity, self-expression – entertainment, fun – and our hearts!  It’s a time of warm hearts, drama and – yes – passion!  And this, too, could be passion not only for our mates, but for our creativity and projects, or causes dear to our hearts.

And with the Sun forming that poetic aspect to Saturn – we can make progress in our lives.  We’ll have the discipline required to put that Leo creative, manifesting energy to good purpose.  And we’ll be able to reach some of those goals that we’re passionate about…

And on Friday, July 23^rd, the Sun will dance with Uranus – and giant Jupiter will turn retrograde until November 18^th… the energy of the Sun and Uranus will open us to spontaneity and surprises.  We may receive flashes of intuition, inspiration – and some welcome AH-HA! Moments today…  It can be a day of excitement and/or the unexpected… soooo expect the unexpected!

And with Jupiter moving into retrograde motion until fall, for the next four months we’ll be reassessing our beliefs in life.  Our values and philosophies can actually reach deeper now… and surprise even us!  We may also return to some studies we began previously.  And we’ll also find our inspiration coming from within ourselves now and not so much externally influenced.  This will be an information-gathering time and we should be open to surprising new possibilities that present themselves from old situations.  Also, if Jupiter is retrograde in your birth chart, you’re going to feel right at home – and you’ll be blossoming!

Saturday, July 24^th, Jupiter will square off with Pluto

Compromise and/or negotiation will be required today and for the next few days actually.

This intense dance between Jupiter and Pluto will last until August 3^rd.  First Saturn squared Pluto in January, now its Jupiter’s turn.  This aspect is about extremes and fears, rational or not.  And excess.  Errors in judgment from acting in haste can become the rule right now – and once the choice is made, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll be able to go back, at least not without tremendous difficulty.   So, take the time to slow down and think before making irreversible decisions.  You may not get a second chance.

And finally, on Sunday, July 25^th, we have a full moon in expressive Leo, and we’ll be able to embrace our creativity and our love.  This full moon is also being aspected by the Cardinal Cross Players, but they’re softening ones – which can definitely help us move through and even thrive through this energy…

Now, this week I want to talk about how and where each sign will be feeling Jupiter’s retrograde movement and keep in mind that this is made even more potent because he’s sitting with Uranus and is part of the Grand Cardinal Cross – and as always, this will apply to your Sun sign and Rising/Ascendant sign, if you know it.

Aries. New starts and new opportunities in your personal life can be inspired from within yourself – and  you might take up something that you began in the past for yourself.

Taurus. Let go of the past and be ready for the unexpected to reveal itself to you.  Bold exhilarating dreams – waking or sleeping – are about to expand your world.  Don’t fight it!

Gemini. New friends – or friends returning from the past – can expand your inner and then outer worlds.  This can be an exciting turning point for your hopes and wishes!  Think outside the box!

Cancer. Your career takes center stage now.  Take a look back to see if there’s something you can use now to jumpstart your career.

Leo. Far-off people or places can inspire you – or even reach out to you.  Look within to see new possibilities. And don’t hesitate to look to those far distant horizons!  Think big!

Virgo. Unexpected opportunities for shared resources – and life-changing psychic experiences – are available to you now.  An issue from the past can come back for reconsideration or resolution.
