So… we’ve got the wind at our backs, we’re holding onto our hats, here’s the week ahead in eight minutes or less …

and this then is for the week beginning Sunday, January 9^th, 2011…

Well… some absolutely great news is that until January 26^th, there are absolutely NO planets in retrograde motion – and that means we have a very BIG GREEN light to make some excellent progress!   So…we should get our running shoes on and start moving!

And the week gets a jumpstart on Monday, January 10^th, when Mercury forms a 60 degree aspect of opportunity to Neptune – and also squares off with Uranus…

 

Our minds will be open — and fast – there can be flashes of brilliance and/or insight — and we’ll be ready and able to think outside the box – and in a hurry, too!  This can be a very good thing!  Imagination will be quick and strong – and we should absolutely pay attention to any quiet whispers – or that little still voice we all have – and take action when we see or hear an opportunity calling to us!

 

Then on Tuesday, January 11^th, Mercury will square off with Jupiter… and our perceptions and thinking can range from super-optimistic to thinking or communicating just too, too big – saying way too much –  committing to too much – or believing too much without really thinking about it.  Either way, communications can and will likely flourish and expand today… and could lead to very large results if we can stay even a little realistic and at the same time stay connected to the hope it offers.

 

And on Wednesday, January 12^th, Mars will form that 60 degree aspect of opportunity to Uranus – which can open doors to change and excitement!  Jupiter is about expansion and Uranus speaks to that change and excitement…  We can be feeling inspired – and this is definitely a time to do that ‘thinking outside the box’.  It’s also a time to let our hair down and step into spontaneous action – otherwise we could end up on the other end of the scale feeling restless or even irritable… So be ready to take a leap of faith!

 
Then on Wednesday, January 13^th, Mercury will enters grounded, ambitious Capricorn, and will pull our thinking processes down to business.  We’ll be taking ideas and communications seriously – and we’ll want OUR words and communications to be taken seriously as well.  This energy can ground our exciting new inspirations and help us plan and accomplish our new goals.

 

And finally, on Saturday, January 15^th, Mars will enter freedom-oriented Aquarius –until February 22^nd – and we’ll be surrounded by an assertive, forceful – or even defiantly aggressive – energy.  We’ll also be responding in very creative ways – or in extremely creative endeavors.   Excitement, spontaneity and innovation will be at our fingertips now — and we can surprise even ourselves as we move into areas we hadn’t even considered possible.  Over these next few weeks, we should however watch that we aren’t too independent or unpredictable as we deal with friends, co-workers and partners…

Now this week, I want to talk about how each sign may experience the dynamic and forceful energy of Mars moving into Aquarius till February 22^nd – and as always, this will apply to your Sun sign and Ascendant/Rising sign if you know it…

Aries

Look for new exciting opportunities to come to you from friends or groups.  Your hopes and wishes are also about to be energized – and in a very big way!
Taurus

Dynamic action and change in your career can come to you, and you can almost literally blow any obstacles that have been hindering your progress right out of the water!
Gemini

Opportunities for travel and learning will likely be arriving – get ready to be very busy as your world expands in surprising ways!

Cancer

Finances and shared resources are about to get very active in your life, and someone close to you may receive money or resources that benefit you in some way, too.
Leo

Partnerships are going to be exciting and surprising – and busy!  Get ready for new people to enter your life, or an existing partnership to start moving.

Virgo

Your health and energy will be on the rise, and work is about to get very busy.  Expect a lot of action – and interaction — with co-workers, too!

Libra

Romance and relationships can be passionate, exciting, unusual and surprising — and it’s a great time to open the door to wild creativity!

Scorpio

You can expect lots of action on the home front and with family.  You can make big headway here now.

Sagittarius

Expect lots and lots of communication to be arriving.  Your mind will be active and on fire with new innovative ideas.  Take that leap of faith!

Capricorn

Look for lots of action and new avenues of money and finances to come into your life.  Thinking outside that box will bring in even more!
Aquarius

You’re ready to take action and make personal changes now — and in very big ways.  But do be careful not to go to extremes – if you can help it!

So… we’ve got the wind at our backs, we’re holding onto our hats, here’s the week ahead in eight minutes or less …

and this then is for the week beginning Sunday, December 5^th, 2010…

Now… this week, we have a New Moon in Sagittarius, Uranus changes to direct motion, Mars will move into Capricorn — but the big news is that Mercury, who is very powerfully aspected right now, turns retrograde….

On Sunday December 5^th, we have a bright, shiny New Moon in Sagittarius — this new moon will bring us ideas for education — and inspiration for internal and external growth and expansion — and maybe even travel.  If we allow it to come to us, we will sense a buoyant optimism bubbling up and available to us.  We have new vision and new hope — and this New Moon asks us to think big, and think outside the box

… and also on Sunday, December 5, Uranus will turn direct, and our awareness and intuitive thinking come to the forefront.  Action and movement in high-tech, television, and science is at our doorstep — and for these few days.  We should be prepared to expect the unexpected.  We will be ready to make changes that have been simmering below the surface for the last few months.  And this can be a very big change in direction for us and our lives

… then on Friday, December 10^th, Mercury turns retrograde at 5° of Capricorn…

This Mercury retrograde is even more significant this time around because it’s also been moving with Pluto for about a week.   So of this Mercury retrograde is very powerfully about transformation.  And we need to watch for anything or anyone that pushes our buttons over this month — because they’re coming up for transformation and healing.  And we won’t be able to say no to this transformation this time around.

And of course, this is the time to pay close attention to our communications, our computers, and their vehicles — and avoid starting major new projects if we can… although projects already begun will be getting a powerful boost of energy, so be ready to make the most of it.  We’ll want to take extra care when traveling, back up critical data and make sure they were saying exactly what we’re intending to say — as usual for Mercury retrograde periods.  And we should remember that Mercury retrograde periods are not all bad — they’re all wonderful time for planning and finishing things that we’ve already started.

And since this Mercury retrograde is in Capricorn, he’s asking us to be practical and to look at any outworn structures in our lives, and be ready to replace them with new ones that serve us better — after he moves to forward motion on December 29^th.

… and then on Tuesday, December 7th,  Mars leaves Sagittarius and moves into ambitious Capricorn — and this too will give us disciplined and structure as we move forward with our ambitions.  The energy of Mars in Capricorn, works well with Mercury retrograde in Capricorn… both are traveling in the same direction.  The one drawback with these placements is the possibility of the possibility of being a little more insensitive — so, we will want to keep an eye on that for best results.

Aries: Falls in your 10^th House of Career.  Look to possible reconfiguration, reassignment or a adjustment in your career life.

Taurus: Falls in your 9^th House of Long Travels, Education, Publishing.  Possible opportunity for learning, but double check plans, especially when traveling.

Gemini: Falls in your 8^th House of Shared Resources.  Matters related to joint income, taxes, inheritances could return for another look.  Consider offers carefully.

Cancer: Falls in your 7^th House of Partnerships.  Take care with communications with partners – an issue thought resolved may resurface for re-consideration.

Leo: Falls in your 6^th House of Work, Health.  Rethink and refine your daily schedule, and reconsider your health and health routines.

Well… we have an exciting week ahead of us! It’s all very magical because the Autumn Equinox and Full Moon at the same time – and this is the Harvest Moon… As the Sun aspects Jupiter and Uranus who are conjunct now in mystical Pisces – we’ll have another opportunity to stand back and take a look at what we’ve been creating… and watch for this to happen in an almost startling way!

Tuesday, September 21^st, is the exact date that the Sun faces off with Jupiter and Uranus… and this is when we can find ourselves face to face with True Awakening – with a capital “A”!  Something is arriving that will shake us out of our same-old-same-old attitudes, choices and situations!  We may find ourselves needing to be quick and spontaneous… and life may feel very unpredictable for a time!  And if we have a choice between stress and excitement – choose excitement everytime!  So, get ready for – and welcome – fast, surprising change!
Then on Wednesday, September 22^nd, the Sun waltzes into the sign of Libra…and marks the time of the Fall Equinox for all of us here in the Northern Hemisphere… it also marks a time of perfect balance between day and night.  For this day and for the next month actually, our focus will be on partnering, close relationships, and balance.  Love is in the air!  …as is negotiation, beauty and harmony amongst us all…use this energy fully and well!

And… this magical moment of the Fall Equinox also takes place right at September’s Full Harvest Moon on Thursday, September 23^rd…

So, the energy really is all about culminating change – and, again, balance – because this Full Moon also takes place very near the point where we experienced the Cardinal T-Square – you remember that Cardinal T-Square, right?! – and it’s very close to the position of Jupiter and Uranus, squaring Pluto, and facing off with Saturn.  Did I say expect change this week?!  And since this Full Moon also takes place in Aries at the beginning of the zodiac… the Zero Point as it’s called – this is like, BANG! LET’S MOVE IT!  And we will!

And since this Full Moon is also the Harvest Moon – we should look to see what we’ve individually or collectively ready to have harvested in our lives… so look back to the New Moon on September 8^th to see what seeds we might have planted!

Then, on Saturday, September 25^th, the radiant life-giver Sun will square off with extreme and powerful Pluto – and we should be absolutely ready to release anything that’s holding us back – whether it’s thinking, emotions, people, places or things… this is another major turning point in our transformation…

If we can avoid confrontations… that would be a very good thing.  Locking horns will get us absolutely nowhere fast…and will just take up a lot of our valuable time and energy.  We need to assess any challenges as calmly as possible – and be prepared to walk away – for just the moment, or otherwise….

Now this week, I want to talk about how and where Venus’s upcoming retrograde will affect each sign. She won’t actually officially move into her retrograde phase until October 8^th – but we’re in the shadow period right now and are beginning to experience it already – and we can get a jump start and use this time to prepare for this new energy… and, as usual, this will apply to your Sun Sign and Ascendant/Rising Sign if you know it…

Aries

During this upcoming period, it will likely become important for you to be mindful of joint resources and other peoples’ money.  It may also be a good time to consider releasing old, dusty or worn out ‘things’ in your life and replace them with frisky new things.

Taurus
Your close partnerships may need a second or third looksee and you may find yourself taking a long hard look at what’s really working in your relationship – and just what isn’t.  And make some decisions that will shake things up and begin again.  One way or the other…

Gemini

You’ll be looking for more satisfying ways to take care of your health, your job and how you live your life each day.  Addressing all those seemingly small things, reviewing and revamping personal habits, including eating better, moving more, and getting enough rest, will result in major life changes that will startle you!

Cancer
Things that bring you joy and happiness will be up for review – and you may be reassessing the romantic situation in your life – and considering what needs to change.  You may also be ready to drop things and move into a new way of creating in your life.

Leo
Not only your physical home will come up for a hard look, but your inner world as well.  You’ll be assessing – and reassessing – the security you have, or don’t have, and redefining where you feel truly at home – and how to get there – and seeing and choosing new goals, inner and outer ones.

Gratefully, we actually have a milder week ahead, planetarily speaking – for a change! But while there aren’t as many – or as dramatic – planetary aspects this week, as we’ve probably noticed these days we’re being forced to look at and deal with areas in our life that need a change… but we’ve also been gifted with magnificent energies lately that encourage, allow – or push – those changes to unfold…and our lives to begin to be  transformed…

Specifically, Saturn and Neptune have now both changed direction – Saturn has gone forward and Neptune has turned retrograde.

Saturn is about creating the structures in our lives and we’ll be able to see new ways of dealing with those structures now – and Neptune is deepening our connection with the invisible and with spirit.  And he’s going to be turning us within now…

And also, Uranus and Jupiter have both moved into fiery Aries – and these two giants are bringing us the possibility for outrageous – and sometimes explosive – change in our lives.

And on Saturday, June 12^th …we’re very much under the influence of the Gemini New Moon…ordinarily the Gemini New Moon is an airy social experience, but this New Moon is also squared by the Taskmaster Saturn, and that connection may temper or even restrain our brilliant new ideas and/or how we approach them in some way.  It’s definitely a more serious Gemini New Moon than usual!

Sunday, June 13^th, is quiet planetarially speaking… but the Moon is traveling through her own sign of Cancer – and in the very early hours, opposes Pluto… and we may be a bit more emotional and at the same time feel we need to push or we’re being pushed… This is just one of those days when, if we feel we absolutely MUST do something, don’t.  If we can have patience today, we’ll see the boulder roll away by itself… so sit tight.  Act later this week…

Monday, June 14^th, Venus enters Leo and she trines Uranus – and relationships will become more important and enjoyable for the few weeks till July 10^th when she enters earthy Virgo… and right now Venus is also forming a sensuous trine to that Jupiter/Uranus conjunction in Aries – and there’ll definitely be romance and excitement available to us if we want it!  And, if we DO want it, this is the time for us to get out and be available for those new and exciting – and maybe a little unpredictable – people to cross our paths!

Also, when spicy Venus is making that trine to Uranus and Jupiter, intuitive flashes can happen in an instant and bring excitement and insight to our relationships, finances, and our creativity!  So, pay attention to those intuitions and watch for insightful fireworks!
Now, Tuesday, June 15^th, can be a totally delicious day!  Today Venus makes her exact flowing trine to abundant Jupiter – and her cohort, Mars, trines Pluto.  This is the day to take action and not hold back.  It’s a day of plenty in all kinds of scrumptious ways – and the Mars/Pluto aspect reinforces and quadruples that abundant feel-good energy of the Venus/Jupiter aspect.  We’re confident today.  And it’s also an especially lucky day!   Make hay while that glorious sun shines!!

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, June 15^th, 16^th and 17^th, really belong to the Moon as she travels through Virgo.  And we’ll have opportunities to get organized and take care of business – and ourselves.  And she also squares the Sun in her quarter moon phase.  The quarter moon often brings us something off-kilter, and some uncertainty or uneasiness – and sometimes a crises in the area of life she’s encountering.  So there may be an unexpected health or work issue that needs to be taken care of…

And finally, Saturday, June 19^th, the Sun squares off with Saturn and we can find ourselves or those around us feeling insecure or saturated in self-doubt.  We may experience a wave of negativity or even nagging.   So, today we should look at ourselves and situations with as much gentleness as we can, love as much of it all as we can – and then step forward and move on.  Also, something that’s just begging for change can show up for us now.  And if we do feel some unhappiness today, we should look at it as a roadmap to reach our happiness – because it’s allowing us to see what we really REALLY do want… and make new choices to get there…
And… though all of this not-always-so-happy energy, the Sun also forms a graceful trine aspect to Neptune…and we can touch all those things that we consider dreams.  And be proactive and move powerfully toward those dreams.

Today, it’s also important that we take time to look within and/or connect with All-That-Is in whatever way that flows for us… and to let go and sparkle and drift down the stream – to what we truly want in our lives!

Now, this week I want to talk about how and where each sign will experience this Gemini New Moon energy – and as always, this will apply to your Sun sign and Rising/Ascendant sign, if you know it.

Aries. Communications of all kinds increase for you.  Have fun with them!  Take some short trips and get out and about.  Be social now.  It will clear your thinking and inspire you.

Taurus. Your finances can get a boost now, and you can have some inspiration to increase your income.  You might also find yourself involved in some fun buying and/or selling activities that gives you a boost.

Gemini. This is your time for fresh starts in your personal life – even your appearance can get a boost now!  Stay optimistic and send or accept invitations.  You can make some good connections now.

Cancer. Things hidden can be revealed now.  And if you’ve been waiting for some information, it’s there for you.  You may also have a view of the future – but don’t make decisions yet.

Leo. Social contacts and opportunities to reach your deepest wishes are here.  You may also find that friends or groups can help you increase income from your career, so stay open to that possibility.

Virgo. New opportunities can appear in your career or business life.  Think outside the box now.  You may also have an opportunity for a change of job, new career responsibilities or even a promotion.

Libra. Interests at a distance can present themselves to you, and you may find yourself making plans for new educational opportunities – or travel.  Make your plans and think in big ways.

Scorpio. Sharing emotional and financial resources will be important now.  Attending to intimacy and private transactions will benefit you, and be practical now for your greatest success.

Sagittarius. Partnerships and marriage may see a new beginning.  Let the past go and begin again.  Cooperation and listening will be important for you to reap the biggest rewards.

Capricorn. Employment matters, health and diet can be successful now.  Improving your physical condition and efficiency can put you on the fast track, and looking to new methods in your everyday life can also open doors for you.

Aquarius. Creative talents and new pleasures are in store for you if you want them!  New avenues for self-expression and making fun a priority will actually bring you surprising success other areas of your life.

Pisces. A renewal or new beginning is here for your home and family life.  And any issues that have been pending in your base of operations can receive new inspiration.  Plant seeds now for your future success.  It’s almost here!

So… we’ve got the wind at our backs, we’re holding onto our hats, here’s the week ahead in eight minutes or less … and this then is for the week beginning Sunday, June 6^th,  2010…

And this week, we have even more twists and turns and energy shifts ahead for us!

…Jupiter leaves Pisces and enters Aries, Mars FINALLY leaves Leo and enters Virgo,  Mercury is very active as he FINALLY leaves Taurus and enters Gemini, and the Biggie-of-the-Week, Jupiter conjunct Uranus… and later this month we’ll also have a lunar eclipse in Cancer.

This eclipse will be activating one of the points of the four-sign grand cross coming up in August… Just know that all of this means that we’ll all have major changes in our lives – and we’ll want to think about being balanced, but flexible, over the next few months… and we’ll have more specifics about all of that as we go along!

So – let’s go!

First, late on Saturday, June 5^th, a whole new major 12-year cycle begins for us – with Jupiter entering the pioneering warrior sign of ARIES…. On this go-round, he’ll remain in Aries through September 8^th when he briefly moves back into Pisces, and then next January moves into Aries to stay till June of 2011.

It’s going to be powerful time for new beginnings of all kinds – especially for being in touch with and empowering our inner pioneers and warriors.  And because later this week, Jupiter will conjunct the Grand Awakener Uranus, these energies are amped up and accelerated!   And over the next few months, and years actually, watch for major breakthroughs in the electronic, energetic and medical arenas!

…and then late on Sunday, June 6^th, after almost eight months in Leo(!), Mars FINALLY enters Virgo where he’ll travel till July 29^th…

Mars in Virgo is going to be about getting down to business and help us take care of practical things, and we’ll have a lot of energy for working in practical ways, and we’ll be going for accomplishment.  We should feel a change and a difference in the direction our energy takes now.

Tuesday, June 8^th, is a very very powerful day!  Jupiter conjuncts Uranus – and the communicator Mercury moves into his own sign of Gemini and is wildly busy for the next couple of days!

The combined energy of Jupiter and Uranus in Aries is going to be a bold and outrageously potent time for all of us… this is a time of breakthroughs.  Aries is the pioneer, the trailblazer, and Jupiter is the traveler, the adventurer.  Old ways of looking at things, and old ways of looking at ourselves, can be released in a blazing wave of change.  However, since Jupiter is still making stressful contacts with Saturn, Uranus and Pluto, the old and new can lock horns – so be ready to catch the wave, but stay mindful.
…and this is an extremely powerful combination – it’s the time to take risks if you really, really believe in what you’re doing!  The energy of intuition, brilliance and wisdom are all around us.  Big bright bold new ideas can blossom and bloom now.  And this aspect hasn’t happened for 14 years!  And it’s just a great time for starting new projects and exploding into a newness we weren’t even aware of a year ago.  So act quickly, after thinking of course!  And make hay while the sun shines, so to speak!

This can also be a powerful time break an old habit, make big changes or start new projects – and if you’re working on the elimination end of things, it’s best to begin before the June New Moon on Saturday, the 12^th – but if you’re launching something, begin it after the New Moon.

Also on Tuesday, June 8^th, Mercury enters Gemini til June 25^th… and he’s exceptionally busy for these couple of days…

Since, he’s moving into his own sign of Gemini, so he’ll be very feisty and happy – and he’ll be wanting communications to move very, very fast!  And he’ll fill our minds with avalanches of ideas.  We’ll also be able to articulate and analyze ideas and information easier  now.  And the month ahead will be very social – if we want it to be! – especially since Venus moves into passionate Leo later this week!  If you don’t want new social friends and lovers – stay home and hide for the next month!  Otherwise – get out, and see and be seen!

And… since Mercury also forms a flowing 120 degree aspect to Saturn today, we’re going to be able to see our goals very clearly – and be able to make the plans to get where we want to go!

But then, early on Wednesday, June 9^th, Mercury will square off in a 90 degree aspect with Neptune – and our mental focus could get a bit fuzzy or confused…  we may also experience some disappointment or disillusionment in communications.  This will be a day to step back and listen more than we talk!  And be more flexible in what we think we know about someone or something in our lives.

But on the plus side, we may also be able to enter into a hazy, mystical space and receive information or messages from an unseen realm… we just need to be sure to check all the facts before we put any revelations and insights we receive into motion!
Thursday, June 10^th, Mercury forms a 60 degree aspect of opportunity to Jupiter and Uranus – and we’ll have ideas, ideas, ideas – and the opportunity and ability to express them clearly!  What a gift!  Today we can part any fog that may have enveloped us over the last couple of days – and see a bigger picture.  Our perspective can change, and we can see patterns in our lives – and how we got here – and where we want to go!  We can touch a great optimism – and feel very adventurous!  Don’t be afraid to reach out for excitement!
…and then, on Friday, June 11^th, Mercury will square off with Mars
and we may have a tendency to sweat the small stuff.  This is a very abrupt energy – and might leave us with some anxiety and tension.  Conflict, arguments or accidents might plague the day – but we can also be proactive and harness this abundant energy to get things done and/or have the courage to do something that’s long overdue!
…and then on Saturday, June 12^th at 7:14 AM, we’ve got a sparkling, effervescent New Moon at 22° Gemini – and fresh beginnings in communicating, speaking, writing learning, teaching – and communications of all kinds are supported – this is a great time to get out and made new contacts!  And all of this is emphasized, remember, because communicator Mercury is traveling through his own sign of Gemini as well…

Finally, Sunday, June 14^th, Venus enters passionate Leo until July 10^th… and we’ll be up for enjoyment, love and pleasure – especially since Venus is forming a flowing trine aspect to that electric Jupiter/Uranus conjunction!

This will be a time to reach out for a new adventure and get ourselves out there and join in the ‘party’ and play!  Or turn on our creative switches and just let go!

Now, this week I want to talk about how and where each sign will be feeling this electric conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus in Aries – and as always, this will apply to your Sun sign and Rising/Ascendant sign, if you know it.

Aries.  You’ve got a bold new start and new opportunities at your doorstep – right now!  Use this blast of energy to begin something – if you don’t know what you want to begin, just wait a couple few weeks and you WILL!

Taurus.  Your immediate future can get pretty exhilarating.  And be prepared for blazing flashes of intuition and psychic revelations – especially in your dreams. Let old dusty things go.  Walk into the newness!

Gemini. Be ready for surprises from friends and associates!  They can inspire you and rock your world.  This is the moment to decide what your hopes and wishes are and what you really really want!  Make a list and make it clear!

Cancer.  Surprises are in store for you in your career.  Expansive opportunities, shifts and changes – and exciting fresh starts – are here.  Don’t be afraid to leave the past behind and start something new.  You’ll be doing it anyway!

Leo. Out-of-the blue mind-expanding possibilities are going to blaze into your world.  Think big.  And then think bigger!  People or things from a distance will inspire you.  Think outside the box, look up – and see those far distant horizons!

Virgo. Life-changing psychic experiences and exciting new opportunities for sharing resources – are about to bolt into your life!  Drop anything stale in your life – and allow yourself to go where you’ve not gone before!

Libra. Unconventional or surprising people are going to shake your world and change it forever.  You might find yourself making some new choices or rethinking old commitments.  Your partnerships are about to get bold, exciting and unpredictable.

Scorpio. Surprising and/or startling changes will shake you out of any recent boredom in your everyday life.   And your job and daily routine is going to open up in ways you never imagined.  Think about using energetics in a new way…
