So… we’ve got the wind at our backs, we’re holding onto our hats, here’s the week ahead in eight minutes or less …

and this then is for the week beginning Sunday, October 17^th,  2010…

Well, this is a week of powerful change – and powerful, powerful passions!  The shifting energy will be nearly palpable to us – so we REALLY SHOULD hold on to our hats – and that goes for about the next month!

The week sets off on Monday, October 18^th with Mercury forming a flowing trine aspect to Neptune and the Asteroid Chiron.  Chiron is also known as the “Wounded Healer”… and our imaginations will be running through fields of purple clover!  And finding healing, dreams and intuitions along the way…

Creativity, healing and ideas will be flowing like a stream to the ocean can be ours for these couple of days… we’ll be feeling very fluid and compassionate toward others, and toward ourselves.  Mental healing is available now and we’ll either give or receive just the right words that we need to speak or hear… the only caveat here is that we may fall into too much wishful thinking or get caught up in daydreams.  Not a bad thing – just recognize it for what it is!

Then Tuesday, October 19^th the Sun takes over and trines the same points in the sky, Neptune and Chiron… and we can be feeling amazing optimism now – and miraculously feel like our recent efforts to achieve our dreams are finally beginning to come together in an almost magical cohesive whole.

Romance, compassion and creativity can also blossom now.  But we should hold off making decisions and major changes under this influence – it’s a lovely, but temporary, energy… so we should thoroughly enjoy it, but stay as grounded as we can

And on Wednesday, October 20^th, Mercury changes his personality from partnership oriented and agreeable Libra and moves into deep, watery and passionate Scorpio – and all just as Mars forms a mystically flowing trine to Jupiter… and we’ll find our intuition and hunches ratcheting up several notches.  Secrets and hidden information may come to light in our lives over this next month – and that can surprise us and/or help us make some more decisions about where we want to go – and what we want to believe.  We could also find ourselves experiencing the obsessive or manipulative side of Scorpio’s personality – either within ourselves or in those around us.  So be alert to that… and all of this very deep energy is amplified by Mars forming a flowing trine to Jupiter today which could either open our courage – or push assertiveness toward aggression if we aren’t paying attention.  There’s a huge amount of fervor in the air today – we should use it to courageously move forward toward our passions.  We could surprise ourselves when we see how much we’re able to accomplish!

Then on Friday, October 22^nd, Mars will square off with Neptune, form an aspect of opportunity with Pluto – and square off with the Asteroid Chiron – plus we have a potent Full Moon in Aries! …all at once!

This can bring us deeply penetrating conversations – or just some plain old arguments.  It will be our choice.  No matter what, we could have a very emotional day, one way or the other.  On the challenging side, we should be alert to any passive-aggressive behavior around or in us, and instead work toward releasing old patterns of hidden agendas.  This can be a startling time of healing things from the past that have hurt us in some way.  Though it might be shocking or upsetting as it comes to light.

And also on Friday, October 22^nd, we’ll be experiencing a particularly intense Full Moon in Aries, and with all the other forceful energy fairly bursting in the sky this week, we can count on feeling fully awake and alert!  Courage is the name of the game.  And there’s so much passion around us this week, that we can stand up and take on just about anything we desire.  Desire being the operative word now!

Finally, on Saturday, October 23^rd, the life-giving Sun will join Mercury in emotionally driven Scorpio – and we’ll be called front and center to follow our passions.  And get a move on!  The good news is that we won’t have a half-hearted feeling in us – and the challenging news is that we won’t have a half-hearted feeling in us!  So we’ll have amazing muscle and strength to follow our dreams – or invent some new ones along the way!  And this energy is going to be around for about a month!

Now, this week I want to talk about the energy of this dynamic and powerful Full Moon in Aries – and how it will be affecting each sign.  And, as always, this will apply to your Sun Sign and Rising/Ascendant sign if you know it…

 

Aries.

Look for a balancing, completion or culmination of something you may have begun related to partnership issues last July.  Look for a new understanding as you relate to others now.  Be agreeable, find balance, but don’t put yourself last!

Taurus.

Some of life’s “clutter” may finally be ready to leave your life.  You might also find secrets revealed to you.  Allow yourself to be drawn to solitude – your intuition will flourish!

Gemini.

Celebrate your friends and be open to seeing your dreams come to fruition.  Also, be prepared that some associations that no longer meet your needs may come to an end – to open the door for dashing new ones to come in!

Cancer.

You may realize a career goal now that opens doors to new professional pursuits in your life.  Be ready to see a new path if it’s presented to you – and grab that golden brass ring!

Leo.

Personal and spiritual growth will expand your horizons in ways you never expected.  You may also have an new education opportunity – or find yourself traveling to new places.

Virgo.

Shared or jointly held resources are up for examination – and possible expansion.  Be prepared to release an old habit that’s just been holding you back!  And also be prepared to experience some amazing expanded psychic awareness!

Libra.

Your partnerships, intimate or business, will be finding balance.  This may mean letting go of any of any that aren’t meeting your needs – or being surprised as some becoming renewed!

Scorpio.

Your health and daily life and routine can become balanced.  You may also finally find fulfillment in your current work – or be presented with an opportunity for new work.

Sagittarius.

Fun, love and pleasure can be all around you for the taking now.  New romance can beckon – and/or you may finally be able to find closure in one that needs to be left behind.

Capricorn.

You can find renewal and balance in your home and family life.  You may also finally see the success in an expansion you’d hoped for – and the success you’ve worked for.

Aquarius.

Communications of all kinds can bring fulfillment to you – and answers you’ve been waiting for.  So, if you’ve been waiting for a message, it’s time to arrive is right around the corner!

Pisces.

Expect to find a balance in your finances and what you value.  You may have an opportunity to finalize a new source of income, or solidify some recent changes in your current income source.

Now, except for that ultra-powerful lunar eclipse that was exact today, Saturday, fortunately this is a MUCH quieter week, astrologically speaking… you can listen or read last week’s SkyeWatch for all the gory details about the eclipse if you missed it!

And during the buildup to the lunar eclipse, we’ve probably had some fire-up emotions – and because of the powerful and difficult aspect patterns involved with this eclipse, these energies will be with us for the next several months.  Especially as we get into early August and that Grand Cardinal Cross of planets…

And we can all make the most of this time by finding a balance in our lives – that’s not always easy, I know – but whatever we can do along those lines will just make the approaching inevitable changes flow more easily later on…

There is, however, another very challenging aspect this week that occurs on Sunday, June 27^th, as Mercury faces off with Pluto at 4 degrees of Cancer and Capricorn, and engages the powerfully, potent and sensitive point of the recent Lunar Eclipse – and we’ll probably find that manipulative people and power games are likely – and we’ll need to be sure we aren’t the one doing the manipulation.  We also need to be aware of how powerful our words are, both internal and spoken.  We may learn first-hand that we can either create or destroy with them…  and all communications can be or feel more forceful or penetrating.  We’ll need to give ourselves, and those around us, some mental and emotional space today.

And then Monday, June 28^th, the Sun will unite with Mercury and this will be the day to communicate.  We’ll be alert and aware.  And we can also have clear or sudden insights about our goals and future plans.  Given just a bit of effort, this can be a great day of achievement, especially if we can just let go and go with the flow.

Wednesday, June 30^th, Mercury will join up with the South Lunar Node.  This point in the sky is linked to the past, so be alert to new information from the past coming to you.  Be alert for anything related to the past that surfaces now.  And we may find that we’ll need to rethink our beliefs about someone or something from the past.  So be alert to that possibility as well…

Now, on Thursday, July 1^st , Mercury will form a wonderful aspect of opportunity with Mars – and this is also about communication and conversation, but in an extremely positive way.  And our connections will probably be direct and quick.  This would be a good day to speak up for ourselves, especially if there’s been an issue that needs to be cleared, or something needs to be resolved.  It’s also a great day for making agreements or signing contracts.  We should find that we and others speak directly and mean what we say.

Saturday, July 3^rd, now it’s the Sun’s turn to join with the South Lunar Node – and we’ll probably need to let go of something that no longer serves us.  We may feel a poignant sadness – or we may feel relief.  It could even be releasing a negative belief that’s been holding us back.  Either way, if we can release and just let go, we can find a lot of energy that wasn’t there before.

So… we’ve got the wind at our backs, we’re holding onto our hats, here’s the week ahead in eight minutes or less … and this then is for the week beginning Sunday, June 20^th,  2010…

This week begins with Pluto, Uranus, Jupiter, the Sun and Saturn forming a grand cross.  And Mercury is also part of this forceful and dynamic aspect pattern from June 24th to the 26th because he will be conjunct the Sun.  And all of this is all about challenging us to step up, stay clear – and use our personal power well… and with honor.

The energy of this grand cross picks up steam daily all week as it approaches the point of the Lunar Eclips on June 26^th.  To say that this is a challenging aspect pattern is more than a little an understatement!

And also, Mercury is moving at his very fastest speed until July 7^th… and will be speeding all things up that involve cognition, thinking, decision-making, communication, travel, writing, teaching and learning.  The faster Mercury goes, the quicker we’ll be able to tune into ideas and plans that move US forward quickly and creatively – and see the blessings around us…  because they’re there!

So, this week – and this entire summer of eclipses, planetary t-square patterns and that Biggie Grand Cardinal Cross which is exact on August 7^th – is fundamentally about change and transformation – whether we want it or not.  It’s going to be about things shaking loose in our lives and in the world…

We can, however, survive it all – and even thrive actually – if we’re ready to let go.  No hanging on tight right now. This is the E-ticket ride we’ve been talking about for such a long time… and it will affect each individual according to how and where it falls in their charts – and in their lives…

And it doesn’t have to be a big-mean-old-bad thing either!  Heck, this could bring amazing angelic energies in our lives – or we could win a lottery – but whatever unfolds we can expect it to change our lives forever!  …And by the end of this year, I’d wager to say that we’ll all be looking back in awe from a whole new Us…

So, it  would be a really good thing to start (if we’re not already) spending some quiet time with ourselves – maybe even just sitting under a tree and counting sun dapples for only five or ten minutes – to be able to receive the new insights and awareness that will lead us through the maze of energies coming up and guide us to our peace and to our success…
And on Monday, June 21^st, the Sun enters nurturing Cancer – Happy Summer or Winter Solstice – depending on which side of the equator we’re sitting!  Time to celebrate the longest day of the year here in the Northern Hemisphere!!  And if we can take some time to be with friends or loved ones, we can appropriately bless and nurture the moment as the Sun enters Cancer…

Now – however, also today, June 21^st the Sun squares Uranus – and we may receive something of a wakeup call – possibly between the eyes – relating to any areas we may have become ‘stuck’… and we may experience a very huge urge to break free or make radical changes… AND change IS important now – but not just for the sake of changing!  We need to resist any urge to be the rebel now!  But it is a great time to discard some old habits or old dusty hardened patterns in our life!

And then, continuing with the grand cross energy of the week, on Wednesday, June 23^rd, the Sun will square off with Jupiter… and the urge to expand will be very strong.  And our judgment may be exaggerated when it comes to acting on that expansion!  While we’ll want to tap into this buoyant energy and stay confident – we need to be mindful about being overconfident and promising what we can’t deliver!   But we absolutely should allow this abundant energy to pour over us and put it to good use!

…and on Thursday, June 24^th, Mercury’s square off with Saturn is also part of this week’s Grand Cross.  And we may feel like we have to work way too hard in our communications today… and we may be feeling a little down, too.  Or… reality may come up and nip us somewhere tender!  However, this can also be a very, very grounded and productive time!  So get busy with anything involving organizing, planning or writing because Mercury also forms one of those lovely flowing trines to Neptune – and we can make a solid connection to inspiration and creativity.  And if we couple these energies with Mercury’s square to Saturn, we really can put our creativity and dreams on a solid foundation….
Then Friday, June 25^th, Mercury will also enter Cancer and join with the Sun, and we actually may find our communication becoming more nurturing or sensitive till July 9^th or so… and our intuition or perception may be deep.  And since all of us will be feeling a little more open and/or vulnerable – we’ll all benefit from using empathy and treading carefully in our communications with others… if we’re able to!

Also on Friday, June 25^th, however, there could be some pretty big fireworks around us… the Sun will oppose Pluto and Mercury will square off with Jupiter and Uranus… and anything we can do to avoid a confrontation today would be a very good thing.  Power issues could arise from pushing or being pushed, or acting too fast or saying too much… not the best for a healthy resolution!

So, on Friday, we shouldn’t allow ourselves to be pressured or pushed into doing – or saying – something we may regret when things cool down.  And we should also be careful that WE aren’t the ones doing the pushing.  The only thing that will probably come from pushing today is pushing someone or something away… which is probably the opposite of what we’re really wanting!  So… we should take a deep breath or some long walks in nature today if we see confrontation coming around the corner!
…and we end our week with that potent Lunar Eclipse at 5 degrees of Capricorn on Saturday, June 26^th, … and since this Eclipse Moon also conjuncts Pluto – and is also making challenging aspects to all of the other Grand Cross players – Jupiter/Uranus and Mercury – we can make this time a true turning point in our lives if we step up to the plate…
The energies of an eclipse can last for at least six months – maybe longer because it’s part of this Grand Cross – and the Grand Cardinal Cross coming on August 7^th.

We can expect these energies earthshaking and earthmoving – in our lives and in the world – and it’s even widely considered to be of the most powerful planetary aspects of our lifetime.

So, for best results, we need to begin looking at any links in our lives that are weak or damaged and either fix them or be prepared and willing to release them… and – in whatever way it takes – look at and replace any fears we hold with love.
