So… we’ve got the wind at our backs, we’re holding onto our hats, here’s the week ahead beginning on Sunday, October 30^th, 2011…

 

. . . . .  

Well… now – among other energies this week, we’re also moving into Mercury’s retrograde shadow… not quite retrograde yet, but we’ll probably start feeling it soon.  Mercury is officially retrograde from  November 2^nd to the 24^th, so this is prime duck-lining-up time.  Especially when it comes to backing up computers and giving our vehicles a good once over….

. . . . .  

 

And so… we begin on Monday, October 31^st and Tuesday, November 1^st, with both Venus and Mercury squaring off with nebulous Neptune.  And as much as we may want to connect with someone in a profound way – with Venus in intense and sometimes secretive Scorpio, we’ll probably want to be extra aware that everything – and everyone – is what it seems.  Fantasy may snuggle very close with deception for a couple of days… Secrets may also be revealed for us though that will help us see more clearly.  Finally, perhaps!  But our minds may be more than a little bit fuzzily dreamy, so this wouldn’t be an optimal time for commitments of any kind.

 
Then on Wednesday, November 2^nd,  Venus leaves some of that over-the-top Scorpio intensity and fairly dances into Sagittarius – and now she’ll be looking for freedom, fun and adventure… we can almost feel the wind blowing through our hair!  We may also feel a real sense of wanderlust and want to get out and about and do some traveling!

 

And on this same day, Wednesday, November 2^nd, Mercury also leaves the watery depths of Scorpio and joins Venus in adventurous Sagittarius.  We should be expecting some truths to practically run up and grab us!  Sagittarius is totally outspoken, optimistic and enthusiastic.  So the deep, sometimes dark energy of intense Scorpio will be lifting in a way that we’ll almost be able to feel.
We will, however, may need to keep a lid on what we want to say because there could definitely be a tendency to say waaay too much.  Thinking before we speak might be a good practice now!

 

And on Thursday, November 3^rd, both mental Mercury and frisky Venus form a flowing trine to spontaneous Uranus.  The key word for today is definitely “expect the unexpected!”  Pleasure, finances and relationships could fairly burst with an air of impulsive and unplanned energy.  Shake-ups could be in order and fresh air will be blowing!  One thing to watch for, however, would be impulse buying or recklessness in dealing with our relationships.  Overall, though, expect unexpected possibilities!

 

Finally, on Saturday, November 5^th, Mercury slips into his Retrograde Shadow … Now is THE time to ensure that all our data is backed up, our vehicles are maintained, and we begin to stay flexible in our planning and projects.  All forms of communication, including mail, email, phone messages – and just plain talking – can start to stumble.  So, we’ll want to be aware, stretchy, careful in communications and adaptable – starting now through the end of November!

Well… now we move fully into deep and passionate Scorpio.  The Sun joins Venus and Mercury there this week, and the October Full Moon also falls in Scorpio – so we can expect intensity to be stepping up around – and in – us.

And so… we start right off on Sunday, October 23^rd with the Sun moving into Scorpio until November 22^nd …

Happy Solar Return to all you passionate Scorpios! And now we ALL get to explore our passions and those deep, deep secrets within our depths. We’ll be challenged now to take closer looks at what makes us profoundly tick.

 

We’ll also be ready to better understand our own transformation and touch the deepest part of life.  One drawback to watch for is that we don’t become obsessive or stuck.  Or fall into any games of manipulation.  Again – our own or others’.  We should also be looking to celebrate any endings in our lives – they make way for new people, places and things.  And we shouldn’t be surprised if secrets are revealed over the next month or so.  For sure, this is a time to find deep pleasure in deep or mysterious places.

 

And then Wednesday, October 26^th, Mars forms a 60 degree sextile aspect of opportunity to Saturn – and we have the Full Moon in Scorpio – AND Venus squares off with Mars… Hanging on to our hats is in order here!

All of this energy brings us a wonderful opportunity to harness powerful fuel for creativity and willpower.  Our mental and physical energies will be strong and stable.  This will be a great time to get out there and BEGIN that goal we’ve been thinking on!

 

 

Plus today’s New Moon in Scorpio also speaks to new beginnings.   And more intensity because this New Moon is made even more intense by aspects from many of the slower planets.  Healings can happen in all areas of our lives and we’ll be even more able to release those things that aren’t moving us forward in our lives.

 

Finally, Friday October 28^th brings us another busy day … Jupiter’s earthy, grounded dance with Pluto can empower us financially.  And we can expect financial opportunities for the next couple of months actually.  This is a very powerful aspect!  Also, today, Mercury squares off with Mars, and the Scorpio Sun speaks of opportunity with Pluto as he faces off with expansive Jupiter.  We’ll want to be ready to use this golden day of opportunity and set the stage for reaching some significant goals over the next several weeks.

Well… we can expect a quieter experience in the week ahead than what we may have seen in the couple weeks past because of the very potent Aries Full Moon.  We may have experienced new beginnings or even abrupt endings – and we’re still very much in the energy of that Full Moon – and now we’re moving closer to the intense energy of the sultry Scorpio Sun – which happens next week.

And so we start off on Sunday, October 16^th with a 60 degree aspect of opportunity between Mercury and Pluto… this can bring passionate communications of all kinds!  Deep conversations will probably be the rule over small talk today.  It will be important to choose our words carefully – as they will have the ability to heal or to wound – and with precision.  Also, if there’s information we need to uncover, this could be the day it practically falls in our laps!

Then on Monday, October 17^th, communicator Mercury faces off with expansive Jupiter.  And since both are in the astrological signs ruling money, discussions about finances in a very big way.  Also, our thoughts and words could take on a quality of largeness – or we may even find ourselves immersed in exaggerated words or information, so we’ll want to take care along those lines.  However, we may also find ourselves seeking big, bold adventure and new possibilities.  Spirituality and creativity can also be ours for the asking – so we should definitely ASK!

So… we’ve got the wind at our backs, we’re holding onto our hats, here’s the week ahead beginning on Sunday, October 9^th, 2011…

Well… this week is all about the Full Moon in Aries – plus we’re moving more and more into the intense energy of Scorpio with Mercury now joining Venus in that sultry sign.  Once again – or is that ‘still’ – we can feel the energy shifting around and within us…

. . . . .  

 

And so we get started with the big changes on Tuesday, October 11^th, with that Aries Full Moon.  The Moon in Aries is spontaneous and independent – and at this Full Moon she also faces of with both the Sun and Saturn.  Now we’ll be deciding on whether to follow our own hot-blooded desires and instincts or choosing compromise and playing well with others.  And if we can tap into this passionate power, we’ll find the waters parting for us!

 

No matter what, we’ll have to contend with the wishes of others since the Sun and Saturn are in partnering Libra during this dance.  We’re also being given the gift of being able to take a realistic look at our relationships – and that objectivity will allow us to bring balance to whatever might be going on in our lives now.

 

Then on Wednesday, October 12^th, Mercury will form a flowing trine aspect with Neptune and our imagination and intuition will be singing!  Let’s just be sure we’re listening.  This will be one of those “quiet still voices” within us that will be speaking with insight and creativity…

 

And Thursday, October 13^th, is a very powerful day – Mercury leaves airy Libra and enters deeply intense Scorpio through November 2^nd, the Sun will be conjunct Saturn, and Venus will form a sextile aspect of opportunity to Pluto…   Our minds will be digging deep into mysteries and probing beneath the surface of people, places or things around us.  We’ll probably uncover some information that proves very helpful, and probably without even trying.  This will be a time of passionate thinking and feeling, within ourselves and also in those around us.  Leave room for compromise in discussions!  You can bet they’ll be intense.  This is also a great time for research, meditation or writing just about anything.

 

And with the Sun conjunct authoritarian Saturn, we may actually be slowed down even further – which can help us receive or choose our messages wisely.  It will also help us make a reality check in situations that need a look-see.  It’s also time to stand straight and strong in our own authority, and not be blown off course by others.

 

Also, Venus’ aspect to Pluto, could bring us some welcome financial assistance or abundance.
Then finally, Friday October 14^th, Venus in Scorpio will face off with Jupiter in Taurus – and we’ll likely find that we’re examining or re-examining what makes us feel good – especially in our closest relationships and togetherness.  And in our money as well!  This will be an excellent time to take a clear assessment of what we have, don’t have – or want – in our lives and begin to make a plan to get them!

Well… this week belongs to the Moon and Venus – we’re still very much feeling the energy of last week’s powerful New Moon in Libra.  New Moons signify new beginnings, but this one has a slightly more volatile side than others since it made hard angles to Saturn-Uranus and Pluto.   And this week, luscious Venus moves into sultry Scorpio toward the end of the week.  We can expect the next few weeks to be very interesting…

And we start off the week on Sunday, October 2^nd, with fiery Mars squaring off with expansive Jupiter.  This connection is energy personified.  And during this aspect, we’ll want to be sure we’re clear and not biting off more than we can chew – especially in dealings with our finances.  However, we CAN get a lot done if we can watch any tendency to overdo.

Then on Thursday, October 6^th, Mercury meets up with Saturn in Libra, and
meticulousness will be our motto of the day.  It will be a good time to take a serious look at people, places or things in our lives.  And there may be a decision or choice that may need to be made.  We may come to the conclusion that it’s time to fish or cut bait, so to speak, in dealing with a project, situation, or relationship. And there could also be a tendency to an “over-serious” mindset and a risk of taking things too seriously – as in a touch of depression, but used proactively this is a day to get grounded and hard work will bring success.

 
And on Friday, October 7^th, scrumptious Venus will make a deliciously romantic trine aspect to Neptune… really there are few aspects more romantic than this one!  Hearts will open and connections can be made more easily.  We’ll want to be out in the world today so this inspiring energy can get to us.  We could make a new soul friend – or soul mate!  This would be a beautiful day for a first date!  This magical, mystical energy could also find us slipping on those rose colored glasses, though, so we’ll want to be sure all those fabulous qualities are really, really there before we commit to just about anything!

Then finally on Saturday, October 8^th, Venus becomes sultry as she enters intense and passionate Scorpio.  Venus has been in delicate, gracious Libra – think frills and lace – and now she’ll travel through deep Scorpio – now think black leather and motorcycle boots!  So over the next few weeks, we’ll likely find our tastes turning to a more heightened sensuality and be looking to experience intimacy in a more intense, in-your-face kind of way.  It will be important that we curb any tendency to use manipulation or control to get where we want to be.  But it’s a great few weeks to get in touch with our instinctive selves…

Well… here come more energy shifts and changes for us!  Fiery Mars enters fiery Leo, the Sun enters Libra – and we celebrate the Fall Equinox.  And now we move into action!

We start off the week powerfully on Sunday, September 18^th, when sensuous Venus squares off with Pluto.  We should expect intensity and deep transformational energy and interactions in our relationships.  And there’s also a strong possibility that we may experience a dark shadow in our desires.  We should beware of sudden jealousy or envy, and be ready to deal with it, if necessary.  As usual, forewarned is forearmed!

And on this same day, Sunday, September 18^th, Mars gets physical and emotional as he moves into one of his favorite energies of Leo.  Over the next two months, we can expect to be almost propelled toward our goals.  We’ll be courageous with our hearts.  We’ll be shining.  And our passions will be electric.  Dramatic, bold and gutsy will be our keywords now.  Our hearts will be audacious.  And we’ll be ready to play!  If we have a tendency to hold back in our emotions and lives, this energy will help us break free and discover new ways to find our creative, playful sides!

Well… This week is ruled by the visionary Pisces Full Moon on Monday, September 12^th.  There’s a wonderful alignment between Mercury in Virgo with Pluto in Capricorn that helps us see the truth and lifts the veil.  We can cut through the doo-doo and to reach the core of an issue.   Our spiritual horizons will be expanding as well.. and our dreams and intuitive guidance will be at our fingertips.  On the cautionary side, we’ll want to be mindful of not falling into co-dependency, addictions, or escapism.  But overall, this is a mystical and magical Full Moon for us to enjoy…

On Sunday, September 11^th, Mercury the Communicator forms a supportive triangle aspect to achievement-oriented Pluto creating a favorable energy for selling – products, ideas or ourselves – and also coming to a clearer understanding of what’s important and useful in our lives.  Our minds will be razor sharp and able to see to the core of significant matters so we’ll want to use this energy well!

Then on Monday, September 12^th, the Full Moon in Pisces arrives…
A supportive, grounded Earth grand trine between Mercury, Jupiter and Pluto is highlighted, which brings a gentle stability to this imaginatively sensitive Pisces Full Moon. Today marks the culmination of what we might have begun during the last new Moon in Virgo on August 29^th.  Now we should be making the changes that will help our body, mind and soul be happier and healthier – emotionally or otherwise.

 
And on Wednesday, September 14^th, Venus dances into one of her favorite signs of Libra, and Mercury trines Jupiter… When Venus is in Libra, we feel like actively socializing and connecting with others in relationships.  Artistic expressions, and love and beauty become important to us all now.  Love is in the air – and we won’t miss it!

Well… we have an interesting – and quieter, kinder and gentler – week ahead of us…and our little fleet-footed friend, Mercury, has center stage and is the newsmaker of the week.  He FINALLY finally is completing this very confusing retrograde period as he leaves his shadow – the point where he originally began his backstep last July – so now we really, really will have the green light to move ahead!  And he also changes signs and moves into his own home of Virgo.  This is good news – and I’m just REALLY feeling one of those halleluiahs – and a big sigh of relief!

And so the energy changes and shifts begin with sincerity on Thursday, September 8^th, when  Mercury enters Virgo, and also faces off with dreamy Neptune.  Mercury is right at home in his own sign of Virgo where he’ll remain until September 25^th, and this will likely be a fruitful and productive transit for us.  Our attention will also likely be drawn to organizing, healing, work and health and fitness.  Analyzing will feel good to us now – but we should be careful not to get lost in the forest of trees in over analysis.

Wistful Neptune also joins in with a dreamy, if nebulous, energy and brings lovely, soft creativity and inspiration to us.  This is a beautiful time to get creative in writing or actually any other creative action.  Lucid dreaming, and inspired thinking and speaking will also be available to us now  since communication may be unusually intuitive and inspirational now.

Then, oh so gratefully, on Friday, September 9^th, communicator Mercury leaves his Retrograde Shadow and this means the confusion, delays, roadblocks and miscommunications we may have experienced over the last couple of months will be clearing up.  It also means we’ll be aware of having more choices in our lives than we had before July.  And if we’ve been waiting until Mercury finished his retrograde cycle before making final decisions or commitments, or taking action on something, this is the time to take one last peek and review, move forward and take the step.

Well… Mercury turned direct last Friday, August 26^th – thankfully – and we’ll all be feeling forward movement this week.  Mercury has been retrograde since August 2^nd and it’s kind of been a tougher than usual retrograde period.  Mercury was making some intense aspects, and especially an opposition to Neptune, which seriously added to the confusion. And over these next few days, we’ll find ourselves reaching some clearer decisions relating to any roadblocks or issues thrown in the mix.  At the very least, we’ll have a new perspective to move forward with!

 

This week also brings us a powerfully helpful New Moon in Virgo, and giant Jupiter slows and begins his own retrograde period, this time in Taurus.

 

All in all, this week offers some new beginnings for us…

So we start off the week on Sunday, August 28^th, with the New Moon in Virgo.

The next two weeks are a good time for new beginnings in health, organizing our daily lives and routines, getting organized and assisting others – and allowing others to assist us!  This Virgo New Moon is also forming scrumptious trines to powerful Pluto in Capricorn and expansive Jupiter in Taurus.  This aspect is called a grand trine and this one can assist us on our paths to give and receive substantial assistance and growth.  And since Virgo is a hard-working and productive sign, hard work will reap the biggest rewards for us now.   Virgo is also a sign concerned with health and well-being, so this is a perfect time for us to step up or initiate an exercise program and turn our attention to a healthier eating routine.

 

And also on Sunday, August 28^th, the Sun will be trining potent Pluto and this will add to our sense of purpose and power.  We’ll be feeling strong and personally powerful – and we’ll want to keep in mind that there’s no need to overdo.  A little of us will go a long way!  And if we’ve been needing or wanting to make some changes in a situation that might have felt impossible or overwhelming, this energy  could give us the strength to stand up to it…

Then late Monday night, August 29^th, succulent Venus trines giant Jupiter and our attention will be drawn to new opportunities, financial and creative, as well as relationships. And on Tuesday, August 30^th, expansive Jupiter turns retrograde in Taurus until December 25^th.  This will give us time to take a step back and take a look at projects and money – and how to connect with more joy and celebration in our lives over these next few months.

 

And finally this week, on Friday, September 2^nd, the radiant, life-giving Sun will form a welcome flowing trine to abundant Jupiter, giving us even more support.  Since both the Sun and Jupiter are in earthy signs, Virgo and Taurus respectively, our progress will have a decidedly practical focus.  It’s a time of planting our futures… so we should take full advantage and plant those beautiful gardens!

Well… this week we do have more intensity ahead with a rare triple conjunction of the Sun, Mercury and Venus, Mars forming a powerful conjunction to the July 1^st Solar Eclipse point – and, of course, the communicator Mercury still being retrograde. So, we should definitely be expecting some potent intensity – and maybe a few more upheavals, both in our personal lives and on the world scene – but also some luscious opportunities!

And so we start off on Tuesday, August 16^th, with that triple conjunction of the Sun, Venus, and Mercury… and this rare triple conjunction can bring us lots of interesting – and fun – conversations and communications. And with Mercury being retrograde, we’re actually in the midst of planning, consciously or otherwise, for moving forward after Mercury moves direct at the end of August. And this alignment is so close in proximity, it’s especially strong, so we should use it consciously if we can!

 

With the Sun dancing cheek to cheek with Venus, it would be difficult for us NOT to radiate love, beauty and pleasure – and the energy of joy could be right at the fingertip of our hearts. Diplomacy will come easily now if we should find ourselves in a negotiating situation. And we’ll have a very strong ability to manifest and attract our heart’s desire. You know the old saying, be careful what you wish for because you could get it? Well, that’s pretty much the flavor of the day! And this energy will actually splash over into a day or so on either side. So we should definitely be alert – and wallow in it!

 

And since retrograde Mercury also conjuncts Venus this same day, communications can shine for us. And creativity will abound.

 

Then on this very same day, Tuesday, August 16^th, the radiant Sun gets into the act with retrograde Mercury, and we have a new beginning in relation to communication and ideas. If we find our consciousnesses shifting, let them! This is the midpoint of the Mercury retrograde cycle, and we could be on the receiving end of some real ah-ha moments…a very good thing! Sudden new, out of the blue, awareness could drop right into our laps today.

 

Then, Wednesday, August 17^th, fiery Mars will conjunct the July 1^st Solar Eclipse point, and will likely reactivate the energy of that Eclipse. So, if we think back to what was happening around the beginning of July, we’ll have a pretty good idea, and understanding, of the energy that will be recurring. This connection of Mars with the Solar Eclipse Point can offer us an opportunity to let go of some of the issues we may have been dealing with over the last couple of months. It may also find us making decisions – or at least seeing what decisions need to be made. However, on the other hand, it could bring a time of some volatility when old issues resurface for resolution…but no matter what, this is definitely a potent and powerful energy, and day.

 

Then finally, on Thursday, August 18^th, Mars will form a scrumptious sextile aspect of opportunity with bountiful Jupiter, and we’re being offered the chance to stretch and reach – and move forward with our plans and projects. Optimism and increased energy will be there for us, which can elevate our energy and get things moving all around us. We’ll certainly want to make use of this delicious aspect!
